I have been involved with email marketing since 1994. I think this was even before the term email marketing was used; those days everyone was excited to even just receive an email!

I started affiliate marketing in those early days, there were very few companies offering affiliate marketing those days, but I started with some low level emails getting people to pay for some new Antivirus program. If I recall correctly, I was one of the first people signed up for the Mcafee Antivirus affiliate program.

Anyway, fast forward a few years and I found myself working for Yahoo: I was on the anti-spoofing advisory team when Yahoo patented DKIM, one of the mainstay authentication DNS records you still find today.

This insider knowledge has helped me with many clients over the years as I specialised in email deliverability troubleshooting. I gained some contacts on the Microsoft Postmaster team when I worked for Walmart digital team.

I headed up the email marketing team for a Walmart subsidiary in the UK, ensuring the email deliverability remained in the high 90%. The standard of the deliverability was so high, that anything below 95% was considered sub-par. We typically sent anything between 5-8 million emails per day, probably a 70:30 split of marketing:transactional emails. I kept this position for three years until Walmart sold the subsidiary company, who were no longer interested in maintaining the existing team after the merger.

I have been working on freelancer websites since 2011, and over the previous 12 years have specialised in email deliverability troubleshooting. I also realized that so many people did not know how to setup their domains to maximise their inboxing. Also, many never knew how to setup a marketing email campaign. So over the years I have been providing email sending accounts to literally thousands of satisfied clients. One of my very first clients on one of the freelancer websites has just celebrated his 10th year of being hosted with me.

In 2019, I established an email marketing agency that offers bespoke email marketing services to an ever growing amount of clients. We normally specialize in helping Insurance agencies, Real Estate Agencies as well as funnily enough, Forex brokers as well with all their Email Marketing needs.
